Exploring the Mystical Path to Your Soul – Part IV

Updated: Dec 1, 2022

This is the fourth blog in our series that explores the mystical path to our soul. To view the previous blogs, go to Cate’s Corner on my website www.seekersjourney.ca.

The 7 Key Cards in the Seeker’s Journey deck help us unlock and navigate the inner journey into our heart and soul. These seven cards are our spiritual superpowers, and we cannot make this journey without their grace and wisdom. The cards are easy to identify because there is a key on the artwork.

The 7 Key Cards are presented in the order that best reflects how the spiritual journey unfolds. Our path is never linear, but these cards help us shift into a space of unknowing where our transformation can begin, or they invite us to connect directly with the Divine. They move us forward on the mystical path to our soul.

The 7 Key Cards align with our seven chakra energy centers. They take us from the physical world we know so well (chakras 1-3) into the mystical world and our spiritual senses (chakras 4-7).

Our last blog featured the Surrender Key Card. Surrender is the practice of letting go and trusting in a power that is greater than you. It is required on our spiritual quest and works closely with our next Key Card which is Forgiveness. Without surrender there is no space for the healing power of forgiveness to move through us or others.

Explore the mystical artwork on the Forgiveness card and the affirmation at the bottom. If you want to use the key and open the door of forgiveness, watch the short video at the end of this blog.

You have the power to forgive yourself and others.

True forgiveness transforms you, your life, and the lives of others. Without forgiveness you find yourself anchored in past hurts, anger, and resentments, unable to move forward. Forgiveness in an inner shift and a transformation. It is a gift from your soul that offers you the inner peace, fulfillment, and freedom you yearn for. Are you ready to start the process of forgiveness for yourself or others? What person or situation do you need to let go of?

Open your heart. Walk through the door of forgiveness and healing.

The level of forgiveness this card talking about is deeper than saying you’re sorry or making amends so that you can feel better and get on with your life. True forgiveness is a healing that happens at the level of our heart and soul.

Forgiveness is a required step on our spiritual path. Without forgiveness and compassion for ourselves and/or the other person, we cannot heal. We will continue to hold on to the thoughts, blame, regrets, or guilt that keeps us stuck, sometimes for years. These negative thoughts and emotions deplete our personal power, physical health, and spiritual well-being.

When we let go and surrender the situation, thought, or belief to the Divine, a space opens for us to see the goodness in ourselves and the goodness in the other person.

Our mind begins to open and there is a willingness to see new hope and possibilities. From a place that is impersonal, we can witness but not judge the role we played in the situation, and how we could have reacted differently. We cannot control others, but we can choose how we react or respond to what others do, say, or create. Only the grace of forgiveness has the capacity to release us from the anger and resentments that hold us hostage.

When we turn the key to forgiveness and open the door, even a crack, we allow the energy of forgiveness to grow within us. We let go of our pain and suffering for ourselves or the other person and allow forgiveness to shift us into a quiet stillness that holds the inner peace, love, and healing we are seeking.

Forgiveness is governed by divine timing and may not be a quick fix, but in its own way and time it offers us complete resolution, fulfillment, and inner freedom.

Join me for a quick tour of the artwork, symbolism,

and message behind the Forgiveness card.
